Cranberry Isle

Nothing like the joys of a weekend getaway. Cranberry Isle, a 30-minute ferry ride from the Maine mid-coast, is known for it's quaint streets and sprawling summer clapboard houses, wooded paths and rugged shore. Bikes are the preferred means of travel here and any old rust bucket with a basket will do. Happily, the days have warmed enough to stash the winter wardrobe, but a sweater or jacket is still required. Visit before the summer people come!
