The Fool's card is one of the most unique in the Tarot, since its meaning can vary depending on the context in which it is found. However, in general, this card represents freedom, spontaneity and adventure. The card is an archetype that represents a person who is at the beginning of a journey, in which he does not know exactly where he is going, but is willing to experiment and live new experiences. It is a letter that invites action, exploration and the search for new horizons.
The Fool, in his capacity as an innocent and intrepid character who is immersed in the esoteric or initiation journey, is associated with the solitary hero who reaches hidden knowledge to combat evil and has been associated with, for example, Parsifal or with the King himself. Arthur in the Arthurian cycle, and with more recent characters such as Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, Neo in the Matrix and Harry Potter in the homonymous saga. In the Trinity Blood Tarot he is represented by Abel Nightroad and in the Viking Tarot he is represented by the god Loki.
In short, El Loco is the quintessence of the Hero Myth represented in so many texts, legends, novels and movies.
