Cranberry Isle

Nothing like the joys of a weekend getaway. Cranberry Isle, a 30-minute ferry ride from the Maine mid-coast, is known for it's quaint streets and sprawling summer clapboard houses, wooded paths and rugged shore. Bikes are the preferred means of travel here and any old rust bucket with a basket will do. Happily, the days have warmed enough to stash the winter wardrobe, but a sweater or jacket is still required. Visit before the summer people come!

Pop Music & Video Games

It's always hard to get back to blogging when I've been away because I spend so much time catching up, but My Attic's particularly great February round (ends Feb 28) with its Pop Music theme brought the necessary inspiration to do a little playlist. The collection has awesome stuff for women as well as the very cool "MPop" pose prop from W.Winx that is texture change, completely moddable and lots of fun for doing photos. It paired up well with the Arcade video game piece, new from End of Daze.

The male avi features an excellent new skin from Essences - nice to see them concentrating on the male side of things again - available in numerous tones and with various facial hair options. Hair is by Mr  C: designed for "lovers" it was released for Valentines and can be worn by women. Clothing is from Mens Dept and I especially love the cool leather look from Razorblade Jacket with texture change highlights on sale for 150l until Mar 1.

The female stuff shown includes items from various sale rooms (all of which will end soon - the Fi* Friday leather shorts in a few hours - so don't miss out) and two hunt gifts with very different looks that both come with appliers: paper.doll's dress from the I Love NY Hunt (14l, gifts shown here) and American Bazaar's top for HFYIS.
