The Bitacora Travel Fair takes you on a journey to the four corners of the world, but one thing about traveling is that you need a place to stay. Daisy Days

I wanted to feature 22769's Eiko dress before the round changes at the Gallery Gift Shop. It has a great vintage look and pairs well with Miamai's Loroi hair and BSD Design Studio's Post Modernism shoes, which you can pick up at Fashion United.

The couch (which I previously blogged here) from End of Daze is now a gift down at the Energy Club, where you can find a ton of good gifts for men & women to mark the club's 3rd anniversary.

The skin here is a recent group gift from LaVie (unfortunately no longer available). However, LaVie has just announced a Sim-wide Easter egg hunt with gifts from the top designers present on their new  urban style shopping area. I haven't had time to do the hunt, but I'm told there are skin gifts for men & women, hair, N-Core shoes etc, although all the gifts may not be out yet. Nice to see LaVie back and bustling - see the pic below for the stores in this hunt.

Modularity

My last post on Four Walls concentrated on some of the rustic items, the grungy even. This time I wanted to feature the more modern gifts - those with clean lines and often modular in concept. Pieces such as Scarlet Creative's shelving units (the gift includes numerous versions that you can mix and match) or Breno's reading nook (part of a future modular series), work perfectly in Circa's "Infinity Cloud" Glass Studio from the hunt, which has cubed rooms off a main living space,  skylights with metallic highlights and panoramic glass windows (Mesh, 29 land impact). Four Walls goes to the end of the month and previews can be seen on the hunt website.

I'm wearing Diego, the new Mesh head from CheerNo, which is on sale at TDR Fusion until Feb 1. In a sense, with these mesh add-ons, be they heads, breasts, hands, feet or other appendages, the avi itself becomes modular, a base to which components can be added or subtracted at will depending on needs. CheerNo's head is interesting and can give a very realistic effect, but the lack of facial expressions can be a drawback. Some new releases shown below include Mens Dept items, a great shirt from HuHu (available with texture change hud) and an outfit from Apple May Designs, which is marking the opening of its new mens store with everything 50% off just this weekend (the AMD hoodie shown below is available in a different color free in store).

Pt. Richmond

A few more scenes inside the skybox from my last post, including a general view of this nice build from [Deco] on sale at Mens Dept.

I'm not sure if the Golden Apple Hunt gifts are still available, but I hope some of you guys made your way over to the NYC sim to grab some of those items.

The fashion here is a mix of Mens Dept, two really nice group gifts from +HuHu+ (a relatively new store with some cool designs - check it out) and an excellent Christmas gift for women from English Muffin. Note that EM's gift includes the dress shown plus six female skin tones and it is just one of a whole mess of gifts (other skins etc.) that Remain Coy of English Muffin has put out for her group. While the group has a 100L joiner fee, the dress gift is currently set to free (check the Teddy Bear under the tree). Move fast while the gift is available...Update: the gift is now 75l for non-group members.
