Writer's Retreat

If I was writing a novel in SL, L2 Studio's Writer's Shed available at Gallery Gift Shop would be a perfect place to do it. This small build has a great modernist feel with deco elements and would work well as a guest house or studio space for an artist or writer. The hopper style windows in the lounge make it light and airy and at 37li and a footprint of just 11x12 you can fit it on any size lot with room for a garden. The interior surface area is small, but I did manage to get a lot of furniture in the space. Visit L2 Studio for more builds in this and other styles at great prices.

The clothing here features Zaara's top (texture-change collars and cuffs if you buy the additional hud) and Howl's Cardigan with texture-change shirt from the August Mens Dept. The hair (Moon), glasses (Modish), bag (Zenith) and shoes (Eudora 3D) are also from Mens Dept. Wander over there before the end of the month, you won't be disappointed.

Pump Action

A deserted gas station, a couple on the run, bikes and guns...what could go wrong? Well I'll leave that to your imagination for now, but HISPose's new chopper pose prop provided the inspiration to break out the leather. The prop includes the bike and seven excellent poses and like all their props is quite inexpensive.

The male fashion has some cool accessories, tats and a nice T-Shirt combo from DROP found at the latest Mens Dept round (ends July 1). Also a new release skin from SAAL Body that is quite good and excellent new jeans from +HuHu+ that you can pick up in a rather awesome texture change version.

Four Walls

For the decor fans there are some amazing hunts on at the moment. The Four Walls hunt brings SL's top designers offering up some excellent gifts that should fit well with your design schemes. Gifts cost 20l so you need to choose wisely. There are too many standouts to name them all, but some of my favorites include a great dresser from Pilot, a cool lamp from Vespertine (one of three), Cheeky Pea's hockey items and a fun guitar prop/chair from Zinnias.
